Dog's Name:

Sammie (Miniature Pinscher), Indiana (Field Labrador Retriever), Dolly (Papillon), Shade (Papillon)

Favorite Dog Sport:

Agility, many would say it's an obsession, and not just a passion!

Proudest Achievement:

Becoming a CKC agility judge is one of my greatest achievements. However, as funny as this sounds, my proudest achievement was achieving my Agility Standard Novice title with my miniature pinscher Sammie. We went through hours of training to sort through challenges, and I worked tirelessly to improve my own competition mindset - this work made our team stronger and our bond unbreakable. The knowledge I gained through this, I impart to my students.

Coaching style:

I have a positive approach to dog and agility training, pushing for clear communication between dog and handler. I have a deep understanding of adult learning and dog breed differences in learning, and will modify my teaching when necessary. I like to be creative with my lessons plans, sometimes a little zany, and always push teams to the next level.

What you bring to Next Level:

Passion for all dog sports, a competitive spirit and the dream of creating a welcoming, safe and positive community for dogs and handlers. I am a big proponent of following your dreams, and this is why Next Level was created!

Proudest Achievement:

I have many achievements that I am proud of. From having been on TV and film sets numerous of times with Nitro, my German Shepherd to spreading smiles as members of Magical Paws Pet Therapy program. I have done multiple local Pet Valu commercials
